Privacy Policy

• Account registration information: name, email address, password • Profile information: profile photo, date of birth, relationship role within your family clan • Family tree data: names, relationships, birthdates, and optional notes about family members including deceased members and pets • Calendar and event data: event names, dates, times, locations, descriptions, and RSVP responses • Trip planning data: destinations, travel dates, itineraries, packing lists • Forum and messaging content: posts, replies, and direct messages within your clan • PTO and work schedule data: time-off dates, employment schedules you voluntarily enter • Payment information: processed securely through Stripe; we do not store full credit card numbers • Communications with us: support requests, feedback, and correspondence

• Device information: device type, operating system, browser type, unique device identifiers • Usage data: pages visited, features used, clicks, session duration, and navigation patterns • Log data: IP address, access times, referring URLs, and error logs • Location data: general location derived from IP address only; we do not collect precise GPS location • Cookies and similar technologies: session cookies, preference cookies, and analytics identifiers

• Google OAuth: if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google • Payment processors: transaction confirmation and billing status from Stripe • Invited users: basic contact information submitted by clan members who invite you to the Platform

Nuyzo accounts may only be created by individuals who are 13 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13. If you are between the ages of 13 and 17, you may only create an account with the express permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service on your behalf.

Clan administrators may add minor family members (under 18) to a family clan. When this occurs: • The clan administrator accepts responsibility for ensuring appropriate parental consent exists • Minor members should not independently create accounts without parental oversight • Parents and guardians may request review, modification, or deletion of their child's data at any time by contacting privacy@nuyzo.app • We recommend that accounts for children under 13 be managed directly by a parent or guardian

We collect only the minimum information necessary for family coordination purposes. Parents and guardians may contact us to request that we limit the data associated with a minor family member's profile.

Parents and legal guardians have the right to: • Review personal information collected about their minor child • Request correction or deletion of their child's personal information • Refuse further collection or use of their child's information • Request removal of their child from a family clan To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@nuyzo.app with subject line "Parental Rights Request."

• Creating and managing your account • Enabling family scheduling, calendar sharing, and event coordination • Processing clan invitations and managing clan membership • Providing the family tree builder and related features • Processing payments and managing subscriptions through Stripe • Sending transactional emails (account confirmation, event reminders, invitation notifications)

• Analyzing usage patterns to improve features and user experience • Diagnosing technical issues and resolving bugs • Conducting internal research and analytics • Developing new features based on usage data

• Sending service-related announcements and updates • Responding to support requests and inquiries • Sending optional product newsletters (with your consent, unsubscribe available at any time)

• Detecting and preventing fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access • Enforcing our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines • Complying with legal obligations and responding to lawful requests

Nuyzo is designed for family sharing. When you join or create a clan, the following information is visible to other clan members: • Your name and profile photo • Events you create or RSVP to on the clan calendar • Family tree entries you create • Content you post in the clan forum • Trip plans you create or are added to Household-level data is restricted to household members only, unless you choose to share it with the broader clan.

Clan administrators have elevated access including: • Viewing all clan member profiles and activity • Managing clan membership and invitations • Access to clan-wide analytics (member count, activity levels) Clan administrators do not have access to your private household calendar unless you explicitly share it.

We share data with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Platform: • Stripe: payment processing and subscription management • Supabase: database hosting and authentication services • Email service providers: transactional email delivery • Analytics providers: aggregated, anonymized usage analytics All service providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify.

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, property, or safety.

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or prominent notice on the Platform before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Nuyzo does not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to third parties. We do not share your family data with advertisers. We do not use your family tree or relationship data for advertising purposes.

In the event of a data breach that poses a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify affected users within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, in compliance with applicable law. Notification will be sent to your registered email address and posted prominently on the Platform.

Regardless of your location, you have the following rights: • Access: request a copy of the personal information we hold about you • Correction: request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information • Deletion: request deletion of your personal information (subject to legal retention requirements) • Portability: request your data in a portable, machine-readable format • Objection: object to certain types of data processing • Withdrawal of consent: withdraw consent for optional data processing at any time

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act including the right to know about personal information collected, sold, or disclosed; the right to opt-out of sale (we do not sell data); and the right to non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation including the right to erasure, restriction of processing, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Our legal basis for processing is: contract performance (account services), legitimate interests (security and improvement), and consent (optional communications).
